Economía LACEA Journal is the journal of the Latin American and Caribbean Economic Association. Launched in 2000, it was published by Brookings Press until 2022. The Journal is now published open access by LSE Press on a continuous publication model.
Economía LACEA Journal publishes peer reviewed research in all areas of economics and finance, with a particular focus on topics that are of policy relevance to Latin America. The journal’s emphasis is on rigorous applied theoretical or quantitative work that uses modern analytical tools and novel or underexploited databases. Consistent with its aim, the journal also publishes critical surveys of work on policy-relevant areas.
