Orbit: A Journal of American Literature

Orbit is a journal of contemporary American fiction from the second half of the twentieth century to the present. We publish special and general issues in a rolling format, which brings together a traditional journal article style with the latest publishing technology to ensure faster, yet prestigious, publication for authors.

Funding is provided by the Open Library of Humanities to cover article production costs, typesetting, website hosting, indexing and archiving. This funding does not cover copy-editing costs or editorial assistance costs, which are currently undertaken by editors as additional volunteer labour.
