FENNIA is a non-profit peer-review journal published by the Geographical Society of Finland since 1889. It is an international scientific publication dedicated to all fields of geography with attentiveness to northern dimensions.

Financial Information
The journal is part of the OJS infrastructure, offered by the Federation of Finnish Learned Societies (TSV) to its members (funding coming from the Finnish government). The published, Geographical Society of Finland, offers some financial support to the editors who primarily work in positions of trust, this resource also coming from TSV (and thus from the state) and from the Society's membership payments. We are a diamond OA journal that develops open research practices in the spirit of collegial collaboration, meaning that the reviewers, guest editors and authors share with us editors the workload.
